ISO 55001 standard specifies the requirements for an integrated and effective management system for asset management. With an asset management system, companies can manage the lifecycle of their assets, as well as optimize their value. 

Implementation of ISO 55001 enables companies to continually improve their assets as well as ensure ongoing value creation.
